How do I wave just the ends of my hair without it falling out or turning to frizz?

I have highlighted hair and I either scrunch dry my naturally curly (and frizzy) hair using mousse and a diffuser dryer or I straighten it with GHD's. Whenever I try and blowdry my hair the ends frizz and it looks a mess. How do I blowdry my hair without it frizzing and wave the ends of the hair? Thanks

I use a curling iron. Clamp it on where you want the wave an then pull it down to the end and wind it down.
