I have highlighted medium reddish brown hair and want to know what would be the best color to put on

My hair is actually medium ash brown but I put a great deal of red on it. I decided to try to get rid of some of the red by putting dark ash brown on it. It dulled the red but didn't delete it and I recently got it highlighted with bright blonde. The problem is that my hair grows very quickly and I want to lessen the depth of highlights--they're too blonde now to suit me. What would be the best color choice to put on my hair to tone down the highlights without losing them completely and won't turn them green. I would like to try to stay with the dark browns or perhaps a dark blonde to try to meld all the colors together better.

A dark blond sounds good. The dark brown will hide it all and it can get almost black. You will then have the problem of red again if you try to lighten. I would try a dark blonde with 10 volume peroxide.

I would add chocolate brown to your hair to darken it. It will also look a lot better with the red.

Pick a 7 or 8 ash blonde. That way they don't turn green Or possibly a 7 or 8 neutral.
