How can I repair hair that's been "fried" and has a lot of breakage from a bad salon

was supposed to be just hilites, but she left foils on too long--became single process light blonde color. Then we added lolites, which ended up looking horrible and orangey, with no contrast.Next day, returned, and she put in darker lolites(dk.brown).Now my hair is about 4 different hues, and tons of breakage has occurred.I originally had healthy highlighted hair with an ashy blonde color. What should I do next to try to restore my hair's health and orig.color?

in terms of restoring your hair's health, deep condition your hair for a while - and really really avoid any type of heat styling for a while - no blowdrying, straightening, curling, etc.

Breakage is really unfixable, but as much as you prob don't want to hear this, you can stop your breakage from breaking/damaging further up your hair by getting a trim, getting rid of the broken ends and just starting fresh.

I'm not a color expert so I'm not sure about getting back to your natural color, but maybe a milder color treatment wouldn't shock your already damaged hair? something less harsh, like a semi permanent perhaps, or a type of color infusing shower conditioning rinse type thing?

Have you ever seen the movie "Something about Mary?"

wash it off with one of them shampoos that takes a tone down and put a hair mask on ur hair for as long as u can stay with it for. i put hair mask on mine for an over night - it was ok after that! repeat as often!

I found a really good conditioner...It's called Sheer Blonde...it comes in a container that is round (sort of like what Pond's cold creme came in a while ago...) and it is champagne colored container. It's about $6 or $7 and does a fantastic job on blond or dyed hair. It will work, honest, unless you are black/African American and then I would suggest you ask your salon for help.

Try Treseme anti breakage conditioner.... Leave it on for 30 mins and rinse..... do it every day for a week and you should be fine.... Then switch to a Smoothing conditioner like SAMY Smoothing (4.99 at target). After a month get that john frieda color gloss in blonde and apply.... your hair should shine and be less frizzy cause the silicone in the product will seal ur hair. good Luck
