Okay, well there is a dance this friday and I usually straighten my hair. I have brown hair with highlights and its past my shoulders. What should I do to make it different but still cute? Any pictures?

There's something really easy and cute you can do with your hair that won't take a lot of time. You should make ringlets on only the top layer of your hair and leave the bottom layer straight. Then put a thick headband on in the middle. I've done that and I'm 13 and I've seen it on older people too, I've gotten MANY compliments.

Click on hairstyles(on the side) and when you get there scroll down and click on hair style gallery (in big letters)

I suggest clicking on "knots fall '03", if you decide to do this hairstyle make sure you have a brush, scrunchie, and 4 small clips or bobby pins.

it helps to know the outfit and if the dance is formal or casual

so there are things u could do that look cute like curling ur hair so it has loose curls and make a hollywood hump with the front part of ur hair (sometimes referred to as bangs)

or u could have loose waves in low pigtails or you could just leave it straight with the hollywood hump (thats really cute)

there are so many options if u need more help ask me or look it up on seventeen.com they have some cute suggestions sumtimes

i think you should put it half up. It is kinda like a poiny tail, but there is still hair under it and all around the sides. I would clib it back with a big barret. Then i would curl the pony tail part only.
