Ok so I have a medium brown shade of hair underneath. Some blonde and red tones on top but it is mostly brown. My eyes are blue/green if that matters. I think I want a change with my hair. I FOR SURE don't want to dye my hair completely because i like the colors in my hair. I just want to enhance it. Which should I go with, lowlights or highlights? Also which do you prefer as a personal preference?

I think highlights look good on dark hair. Lowlights look really good on blondes.

Go with a really dark brown. It will add a lot of depth, and make your current highlights really stand out. If it were me, I would put the dark brown around my hair line and not touch the crown area. It will look great with layers.

i personally prefer highlights but for you i don't know if you've aleady got the dark hair color i would highlight it but not too light! so yea!!! good luck!=D
