ok... well, lemon juice is the best way to test and see which colour wud suit ur hair the best. I suggest that u squeeze out some lemon juice and, using ur fingers, apply some on a strand of hair. Well, let it on for some time... and see how the colour changes. WHne u like a certain colour, wash that strand of ur hair.That'll be the colour u like.. all u gotta do is go to a parlour and check with them if they have any of the simillar colour.

ive seen some girls with like burgendy and it looks really cool..and then i have seen some ppl with like a golden yelowish blonde.and it looks good on them..but some ppl cant pull it off..so it depends..if u want it to be standing out i would go with the blonde but if u want something like standin out but not too much i would suggest the burgendy/red

i have black hair too....it sounds crazy...but, blue is great on black hair...especially if your hair is blue/black...you see sooooo much red, purple and burgundy...go for BLUE

i have black hair too..i dyed it dark purple and hot pink with blonde extension. i had red hair before too but red does not last as long as those other two colors. You would have to bleach it first. Try Special Effects. I have Pimpin purple and Atomic pink on my hair now. Do sections instead because highlights will blend in with your hair then the whole hair would look like purple or whatever u want. If you do section u can tell, and it's contrasting, also it's trendy.
