Is there any way I can make it slow down? i know it is kind of the opposite of a lot of questions. But I just got my hair re-highlighted and it is absolutly fried because I still straighten it 2x a week or so .I know I need to stop, my hair is so dry and there is so much breakage in it. It also drys super fast, which is funny because I have a TON of hair. But, I don't wanna have to do highlights again for another 6 weeks! And my hair hair grew almost an inch in 3 and a 1/2 weeks...

wow you dont want you hair to grow? haha - sounds like you need to get a good conditioner because you really cant stop your hair from growing. go to sally's beauty supply and there is a conditioner there that is called cholesterol and it works wonders on dry brittle hair. i got a perm and it damaged my hair really bad and that stuff worked for me. hope this helps!

anyhow, stop highlighting maybe? try dying back to your natural hair color. coloring darker normally makes my hair shinier and healthier looking/feeling
get the ends trimmed up and use conditioner for colored hair.
