Ahh! my hair!?

okay so I bought a box of dark brown hair coloring. and now my hair is BLACK. I've washed it many times and it hasn't faded yet. I have a hair appointment tomorrow. She said she could either strip the color, and dye it the color I want, or she could put in highlights for a lower cost. So what would look better? black hair and highlights? or just brown.

uhh neither...depending on how long ago u colored it...igive it a few it will wash out trust me mine did...it went from black to this really nice light brown color with in 2 months...use a shampoo that doesnt protect your color..my stylist told me that...it helps the color fade faster if u dont like it....if u colored it a few hours ago or something u can go to your local cvs or walgreeens and but this product called OOps or something like that that will work in 24 hours and take out the color....hope that helps

Honestly I wouldn't strip it because it tends to damage your hair and make it really dry. I would probably go for highlights and after a few months the color will fade and you can put a lighter color on it.

I would personally get the highlights. I dyed my hair brown once, and it was a lot darker than I had expected, almost black. It faded a bit within a few weeks.

If you go with the highlights you will have less damage. I don't know about what other people think but I'm not the biggest fan of black hair with highlights if the highlights are a really light color.
