Hair dye question?

my plan is to dye my hair dark brown(almost black) then put bleached streaks in. so my question is, is it ok to put the bleach over hair dye? and right now my hair has highlights in it.

[[and plz dont tell me how bad it is for my hair and how i shouldnt do it myself. i already know it damages your hair]] thnx : )

well since your already dying your hair you know that alone will damage your hair, but not to badly because there will be no alcohol usage. but since you want to add the blonde streaks over the black/brown then you will need to use alcohal and bleach and many other chemicals that will damage your hair terribly and make your hair frizzy and hard to brush/comb

what i would say it would be fine, but you would also have to use LOTS of the bleach to make sure it is noticable over the black

No!!!! You need to wait at least 2 weeks before highlighting...it will not turn out well...personal experience!! Maybe a couple of shades up from black and a few shades down from blonde to make them work without turning green...

You will be fine to do that. Go to a beauty supply store to get a better bleach. That should be really cute! Good luck :)

it is ok because the bleaches just clean the color of your hair....

Why not figure out ahead of time which sections you want to take color Out of and when time comes to dye, pin those sections up and away from the dye?

This way you aren't needing to remove a treatment of dark dye from your hair which can really "stick".
