How do you remove hair dye?

my hair is highlighted and i want a new hair cut, but i dont want to do that with my roots all showing and stuff. but i don't want my highlights anymore.

is there anything i can buy that i can put in my hair to get all the hairdye out of my hair?

How do you remove hair dye?

They sell color stripper - It's by all the hair dye at stores

But when it takes the darker color out, the hair under is going to have an orange tint to it

You can dye over it of course, but you have to bleach away the orange if you want to go lighter

If you just want all your hair back to black? Just dye over everything with black dye :-)

How do you remove hair dye?

not without completely damanging your hair. and it will cost alot of money. just dye it again all one color.

How do you remove hair dye?

what you need to do is buy a hair color remover.

i suggest you buy COLOR OOPS

you can purchase it at any drugstore

and the best part about it is that it DOESN'T

damage your hair like other color removers do

because it has no ammonia or bleach.

you can also dye your hair the same day instead

of waiting a week like you would with other damaging

color removers. after you remove the dye your hair will

be a light brown/orange color. if you plan on dyeing your hair the same day make sure you buy a shade lighter than the color you originally want because since your hair is porous due to striping your hair, the color will show up darker.
