ok, my daughter got into this problem one time, the hairdresser colored her hair her natural color and kept trimming the ends until all the dead hair was gone(long process) but she learned she never wanted to be a blonde again

ok well dont worry its from too much damage at one time so you have to just wait till your hair grows back out or dye it black so no one can tell

Go back. You have a right to have the color you wanted and said you wanted. It should be done for free also.

i would go to the store and get a medium blonde you want it to say 8 on it. i would try preference in soft wheat blonde. just apply it to your roots, you don't need to leave it on as long as the box says because you hair has been dyed already, i would leave it on for about 12 minutes...also it'll say on the box to work it through the rest of your hair, don't do that either. then wash it out, that should darken your roots a tad and everything will blend together nicely...that stylist shouldn't have let you go out like that she should have fixed it right away, by just toning it..she obviously doesn't know what shes doing. i wouldn't trust her to try and fix it again. when your roots grow out again, you'll probably need to do them in two or three weeks...just pick up a number 8 ash blonde try preference in ash blonde or champange blonde...and do the same thing except leave it on the whole time, but still don't work it through the rest of your hair. this will make it so you don't have to get your roots done as much....and you need to find a better colorist, if you see a blonde that has hair like yours ask her where she gets it done. good luck!
